You can take a short flight to St. George from Salt Lake City, but we recommend the scenic route: a four-hour drive. They have mild winters with temps around the 50s during the day. It’s the perfect time to explore Zion National Park or Snow Canyon State Park, both are much quieter than during the summer. Downtown you can enjoy galleries, museums, and restaurants.
Key West, Florida
A nearby neighbor to us in Ft. Lauderdale, Key West is a top destination no matter what the season. Balmy temperatures in the 70s mean you can still enjoy all of the summer activities without the summer crowds. Enjoy the nightlife on Duval Street, join a ghost tour, or visit the Ernest Hemingway House while you’re in town.
NYC, New York
Winter is the perfect time to visit NYC. It definitely gets chilly during the winter, but they don’t typically get much snow. And everything is decorated plus there are special events all over the city. Go ice skating at Rockefeller Center, walk through Central Park, or take in a show on Broadway. If you need a break from the chill, head to one of their famous museums like the Met or the Guggenheim with a cup of hot cocoa.
