4. Booking Excursions
Unless your fare includes onboard credits for excursions, skip booking them on the ship. Local excursion companies often offer the same tours for much less. They may also have excursions that your cruise ship doesn’t have. You just want to do your research before your trip and pick a company that’s trustworthy.
5. Choosing Your Cabin
It’s easy to pick the cheapest cabin when you’re booking your cruise. I mean, who’s planning on spending that much time in them anyway, right? Wrong. If it’s your first time on a cruise, really take your time when you’re picking your cabin. Is it possible that you may be seasick? Lower, central rooms will feel the least motion. Sensitive to noise?
